Yamaha PSR-E383: the learning keyboard
Noticeably better sounds (Yamaha’s big sound library), auto-accompaniment, and the “Keys to Success” learning function with built-in practice pieces. The display helps with navigation. In short: the keyboard for children who really take lessons or practice seriously – it grows along for two or three years.
Casio CT-S300: the light-and-everywhere keyboard
Considerably lighter (3.3 kg!), with a carry handle and battery power – a child carries it to their room, to grandma’s, to school by themselves. The sounds are decent, but one step below Yamaha. In short: the keyboard for discovering and taking along, at the smallest price of the class worth taking seriously.
